The players mentioned are represented by Wasserman, which is one of the largest sports agencies in the world, they represent many high profile footballers, and are a big player in the NFL sector. Andrew Taylor worked as a football consultant for Wasserman at the time of the trial (2015), I wouldn't have expected him to return to such a high profile company on his release from jail - maybe you know that he has? |

Tell you what Tills, not singling anybody out (which won’t stop the usual suspects from clutching their pearls in feigned outrage), but you do get the feeling that even if we got to the prem, won the title, won the FA Cup and the f**king Champion’s League, there would still be some people who would be busy looking for an excuse to trash the manager and/or the owner and/or the CEO, and/or the coaching staff, etc ad infinitum . . . I think there are more than a couple who would have us back at Twerton being “Rag-bag Rovers” if they were given the choice. |

I have no issue with anyone having a view or if they don’t like ‘the management team’ (and I say this because Barton, Jennings, Mangan etc are all part of the joint team that is in place) for whatever reason they may have but I wish they would at least have the guts to be up front about it and say why rather than just posting links to dated tabloid (and we know the tabloids are never biased and never write stories to suit an agenda)…. It’s also strange timing bearing in mind that we’re holding our own in the league with a decent chance of a top half finish, if not better…… Reading through some old threads and comments, there are some classic snide comments and digs people have made around certain players and recruitment etc which they’re now having to eat humble pie about …… some of our fans would never make it in the porn industry as judging by their comments they’d always be premature! 😂 |

Why not just complete your attack on JB and post a link to his step brother's court case, or have a spoilt your plans? What enjoyment do you actually get from just posting negative posts, as that's all you seem to have done over the years on Gaschat. |

You will undoubtedly have read the article. You will note that the policeman who died was three times over the legal limit of alcohol for driving. You will also note that the killer blow landed in a very particularly vulnerable spot - as the expert medical witness drew a comparison with the death of the Australian cricketer Phil Hughes. The likelihood that the person inflicting that blow knew this is very very remote. The whole case is shrouded in mystery as to who said what, did what and who provoked who. Any death is tragic and I deeply regret it, but I would refrain from passing judgement myself. You, of course, are free to draw your own conclusions. Others may differ. |
