Not everyone's cup of tea, but I am looking forward to this one.
A good chance to blood some of the youngsters, plus a few intriguing selection posers for Joey.
Does he play Alfie as we have a depleted back line?
Does he play Macca give him some match fitness?
Does he include the likes of Westbrooke, Clarke and Rodman? He has contradicted himself many times before, so to say they will never play for the club, may not necessarily mean the PJ Trophy.
I am sure I read somewhere players on loan to clubs lower down the pyramid can still represent their parent club, so a chance for Ward and Egan?
Could we line up as;
Ward
Sessay. Kilgour. Egan.
Jones McCormack. Westbrooke. Lawrence Saunders
Loft. Greenslade

Saw Muffs at FG last week and they have some very lively ,dangerous players up front, suspect back 4 though, doubt it means anything though as line up for this match is unlikely to be anything like the same.

I'd be worried about Alfie picking up a knock, given our shortage of CB's at the moment, and I thought he was our best defender yesterday.

Unfortunately there will be no choice but to play a lot of the first teamers.
If McCormick didnt even make the bench yesterday should he be starting? Think we would be more likely to see him come off the bench.
Jaakkola should start in goal and those who were / have been on the bench lately should start. Loft, Saunders, Gordon etc. Plus a few of the youngsters. Lawrence, Ryan Jones etc.

Sounds like we’re looking to get knocked out of this cup at the first opportunity. Good !

Sounds like we’re looking to get knocked out of this cup at the first opportunity. Good ! All about opinions but I disagree. The youngsters need competitive games, the bench have no reserve matches so need to top up fitness levels. Plus the club needs the winning feeling and the money. I read Toms article in the Pirate yesterday saying Wael has written off another £3.5 million. I hope this is "old news" and relates to the Covid season as even with his wealth we can't carry on losing money like that, or we will soon have to launch ShareScheme 2 !

Pretty sure pizza cup games are also on iFollow. Earlier kick off too which is better for people like me and the time difference as its unlikely I would choose to stay up late to watch this game. In the same way I wouldn't pay to watch it if I didn't already have a season pass!
