Hopefully I reckon he'd tear the conference a new one.

Why would Hitchcock consider a move to non league football when he's just finished a loan spell in Div 1, likewise there's little chance of us beating Northampton to a loan signing.

Tubbs lol. Why not go for Gareth Bale while we are at it. Just as much chance - i.e. zero percent. A nice thought a few months back but there is literally no chance whatsoever now. Best chance would be a 200k bid for Akinde. Don't rate him, but that 200k would probably guarantee our spot in the FL next season (which is worth more than 200k). Take away Akinde's goals and I bet Barnet are relegation candidates #onemanteam #areyouliverpoolindisguise Why I think it is ridiculous to suggest us getting him is the same chance us as getting Bale is this...if Wimbledon think they have a realistic chance of signing him which they must do hence their offer then why it is so far out of the realms of possibility that we'll sign him?

Because they have more money than us and are in the football league? They are in the football league...well done. One whole league above us, not 4 leagues. ONE league. However we don't know they would offer more money and what sort of rewards etc we could offer him for firing us to promotion? We have more potential than Wimbledon. Also Wimbledon don't have a manager who has previously plated with/managed Tubbs. Do you know he would prefer to live in the hustle and bustle of the London area as well?

Well I personally think the chances of us signing Tubbs are zero percent. The chances of us signing Gareth Bale are zero percent. Therefore each signing is mathematically - and logically - as likely as one another. Of course if you rate the chances of Tubbs signing as greater than zero percent then fair enough. But I don't; hence my comparison.

I reckon Tubbs will be signing Any chance of signing of him might be extinguished if he plays well and notches against L'pool live on BBC1 Monday Night. if he plays well it won't change any reasons he may have for wanting to come here so it makes no difference. We are in the same boat as the dons. Don't get carried away by a short patch of good form, offer what you think is fair/affordable and if he goes eksewhere then (a) he wasn't the right player for us, and (b) we know we tried our best. Can't say more.

Wimbledon play at a makeshift ground that holds about 4,000. Enjoy the adulation.

Why would Hitchcock consider a move to non league football when he's just finished a loan spell in Div 1, likewise there's little chance of us beating Northampton to a loan signing. life is full of quandaries. Why did a lge 1 team loan him to another lge 1 team. Why did teams pay £800k for tubbs and £1m+ for barnett, who both flopped at that level. Why is a recent chippenham town player (tyrone mings) being feted as a big premier lge signing. How did st.blazey's goalie become the uk's first million pound goalie. Why does a team nr top of 5th tier get more media interest, tv coverage and higher crowds than teams struggling in the 4th tier? Football is a funny old game

Unfortunately none of those scenarios relate to a young promising Div 1 player joining a Conference side, Hitchcock won't return this season.
