Seeing the photos does make you realise GregsGas was taken far too soon.
Condolences to Claire, Christine and the rest of the family and friends.
RIP GregsGas

To you all, this is Paul's sister and occasional Gashead... Clare put me on to this thread, I mean I knew he was part of this forum and I know he was involved with the events- however I had no idea just what a huge part this- and you lot -were in his life. It has been a massive comfort to me to read all these tributes- to know that his humour, and sharp observations shone through in his posts (no one knew footie like him), to know how much you saw him as the exceptionally clever, kind and generous human he was, despite his troubles.
There is a gofundme set up as - A tribute to Paul Gregory, to soley help his partner Clare who has supported him, and loved him so much over the years. I'll add the link soon- can't figure out how to do it at the moment.
His farewell will be held on Thursday 25th November at 345pm at Canford crematorium. More details to come, but the service will be taken by a Celebrant rather than a minister, Paul's favorite music instead of hymns, and casual dress- so feel free to wear your Gas shirts and trainers... We will also be meeting him before at my mum's house at 47 Canford Lane, and walking behind him to the cemetery. Followed by his celebration at the Henbury Inn. Everyone who he ever made laugh- which I guarentee is all of you- is welcome....
From the bottom of my broken heart I thank you all for reading anything he has written, laughing at his jokes, being his friend.
My sincere condolances to you all, With gratitude, Christine
Christine, That's a beautiful tribute befitting of your lovely brother and fine friend to so many of us. My heart goes out to you, Clare and your family. Thank you for posting the funeral details and I look forward to try and help out a little when the link is provided. Take good care Love to All Big Kev x

Hey Christine, it's so nice to hear from you, just so sorry it is under these awful circumstances. If you find yourself with a few spare moments, there is a thread in the legends section where Paul makes a considerable contribution, his posts and interaction with Big Jock typify his humour, it may put a smile on your face when the time is right. gaschat.co.uk/thread/15695/dinner Thank you for the funeral details - much appreciated Sean x

Now that Hugo has posted the gofundme link thought I would bump the thread to save it slipping down the page. For those of us fortunate to call Paul a friend,we knew he and the lovely Clare were not particularly well off, but their generosity went far beyond that. I know everyone on the forum will miss his funny and well balanced views about all and sundry on this forum. I know that any help however small will help Clare through this tragic time and urge anyone on here to make a contribution no matter how small to the gofund me link on Hugos post. Many thanks Gasheads.

These last 18 months have been really tough on all of us both emotionally and financially so I appreciate that many won't be able to contribute but if you can spare even a fiver to help I know it will be gratefully received and thoroughly appreciated.

Another bump for this worthy cause, Gregsy was a friend to many, and on here a massive contributor as both a poster and a moderator, he always raised a smile and was a integral part of this place. Sadly we can no longer help Paul but those left behind need our help, Clare has so much to deal with, none of us will know what she’s going through, but maybe we can help by donating some funds to help in a small way, I know she would appreciate it in her own humble way. Please donate if you can in memory of our very own Gregsy. Here’s the link again: A Tribute to Paul Gregory Fundraiser.

I am absolutely gutted that we have lost a good man, I got to know Paul through the FFSC and always enjoyed his company. Who can ever forget the "curly fries" gathering in the West Stand! Clare & Christine, my heart goes out to you. I know exactly how you are feeling and will make every effort to attend the service at Canford Crematorium.
RIP dear friend, until we meet again at the great stadium in the sky. God bless you mate!!

Massive bump for ma wee pal Gregsy would have loved the sausage but called you out on the unopened San Miguel Jock. But we know you must still be on Jocktober and the “wine” is the wee’un’s Ribena?

Come on Gasheads. Only another £220 to reach £3k and double the original target. If our dear friend Gregsy was still with us he would have been staggered by the love shown for him, undoubtedly a forum legend.

I have only just seen this, shocked and upset. Have known Paul and his dad Don for a good few years, going way back. I really cannot believe it. And to see the picture of me and Paul which I cannot remember being taken,is gutting. Don't know what else to say,he was lovely. So sorry for Clare,Christine,Don and his mum. Will not be seeing him on the bus stop waiting for the 76 bus home but will always remember him with fondness. UTG Paul. RIP. Pat

Just seen the donation info - sorted. Having never met Paul, I did not realise how young he was - he will always be a GasChat legend.

Just donated. Not sure why it's still showing as anonymous even with the privacy setting turned off but it doesn't matter.
Gonna miss you mate x
