That's excellent mind games, have you never played cards? Does look like a 442 though, hope we're not overrun in the middle. Haha going for the old classic quadruple bluff I wonder if it’s a diamond midfield with Nicholson at the top? Sam Nicholson as the queen of hearts. Much has already been said about our away record v Charlton on other threads with our last victory at The Valley almost 63 years ago to the day. Our overall record is not too bad and a decade ago would have looked even better but having suffered 5 losses and 3 draws in the last 10 years we now have more defeats than victories Tbf how many ‘big grounds/big clubs’ have we won at in the league since the 3-2 at St.Mary’s in 2009? Ipswich under Cogs. The end?! Pathetic isn't it? Can only think our players get overawed due to playing at such a shambles of a home ground. |

Does ifollow work ok on iPhone? It’s worked whenever I’ve tested it. Hope you have a large phone though as it gets annoying to squint to make out the ball after a while on mine. |

I’ve got to say I wasn’t overly convinced when we played 4 at the back with a similar formation on Saturday after Rodman went off. I don’t know what it was but we gave up a lot more territory and they started to create chances.
5 at the back seemed to suit our style a lot better, allowing the wingbacks to push up the pitch and get involved in attacks.
