Exactly. ‘Ginger marries successful actress’ was a less exciting headline. Ginger? If he'd been black would you have written this? Be quiet mate, don’t be daft.

The royal family are simply a tourist attraction, you could replace them with wax works and it'd make no difference. They already have been !! The only problem is the racist wax works still own a vast wealth that they stole from around the globe over the centuries.

Most of them have been seen off, but replaced by bureaucrats. When you think that ww1 & ww2 were due to the royal empires having a family feud, the millions and millions of lives lost, and it changed the world forever.

Royal families aren't bad per se, same with presidents or General Secretaries. Ruling elites look after their own whatever their justification for being in power. As for the First World War being started by a family feud, that's a simplistic (and I'd argue, incorrect) view of a really complicated situation. The second was started by two republics, in Europe anyway.

WW1 yes but not WW2 Was going to comment the same, but WW2 happened because of WW1 so technically... I don’t mind the royals, it’s actually nice to be different/traditional to other countries rather than appointing a president to do the same thing.

WW1 yes but not WW2 Ww1 and the aftermath led to ww2. Even the Japanese god emperor had a go in WW2. Most countries just minding their own business. It was the imperial countries that went to war in order to protect their own global empires. The British even decided to loop around Europe to North Africa in order to keep their trade route to India flowing! They avoided the Germans for as long as they could.

Germany had no global empire, they wanted Eastern Europe. We fought the Germans in 1939/40 at the start, North Africa theatre came later when the Italians needed backing up.

Aye they don't bother me so no problem, to be fair to Charles he has for many years been a man ahead of his time in respect of Climate change.

Ww1 was Germany's attempt to get a global empire. They were late to the party in that respect. England joined the French and russians in ww1 to maintain their empire and keep routes open to India. Seems war is money orientated, not the moral crusade we are told it was after the event.

Interesting poll stats on sky news about who has and has not got sympathy for Harry & Meghan. Conservative voters very little , Labour voters a lot more.18-24 yr olds I think was something like 44% and over 65s only 9% .

No sympathy at all,we only get their version of the truth and they know damn well that the rest of the Royals cannot publicly defend themselves. Strikes me as 2 self centred people who wanted their cake..... I have no problem with them leaving but ffs why air family dirty linen in public, who's to benefit,ah let me see..... There are too many much more important issues in the world to waste time on this soap opera.

We even had Hilary Clinton saying the Royals had responded badly when Meghan said she had a mental health problem, how does HC know what the response was it's just bollocks. Harry I had to rely on my Mother's money, ffs 10m not like he was on Universal Credit.

Well yes but we didn't avoid them, just escaped. Germans let the lads escape didn't they, very sad that 3.5k lost their lives in that grave error. The Germans main target was russian Bolshevism so didnt push for a full land battle with england at that point.
