No pre match preview comments from the manager? Or any player’s the last time I checked. Heard nothing from the club on deadline day or today.

Could be a close game this one? Maybe we could nick it 1-0 if we can get our noses in front. Accrington are not in great form, don't concede many, maybe we will see a response from the players after Saturdays rubbish. They drew with Plymouth away on Saturday who have a good home record and beat Hull 2 0 the game before that. There results are very up and down though, so hopefully they have a down game today. They lost 3 0 to Hull the week before they beat them😂

I pray that PT has taken Ehmer to one side and explained exactly what is expected of a Captain - to bust a gut and to rally, encourage and guide those around him. I also pray that Ogogo is OK as it is only with him and Grant holding the midfield and protecting the defence do we look at all able to defend properly And third prayer is that Nicholson, Hanlan and Daly are all kept fit through the next two months of 2 games a week

They have to be favourites but we are good enough to go and win the game. We have been playing poorly, yet Nicholson still hit the woodwork when level in the last 2 games. Accrington have had some great results, but they have also been beaten 3 0 and 4 0 in the last month.

Be spared surprised to see him back within 6 weeks.

You omit to say having won at Charlton their Manager made TEN changes for their mickey mouse cup game at Lincoln and they lost 4-0. Make no mistake, their league position does not lie, they are a decent side. I hope we can get something tonight, but I was also hoping we could get someone through the door last night and we all know what happened there.

Cant see anything other than a defeat collectively don t see them busting a gut for the shirt, prove me wrong.
If Tisdale takes us down hope he will walk away as we cannot afford to sack him.

Why should he walk away when 90% of the squad were not his signings. He should be allowed to build his own team surely.

I would imagine he was under no illusions when he took over that his job would be to get a tune out of the current squad.... I still think he can with 23 games to go, but less than I felt a few weeks back....

Which mistake? Rochdale's first was a defender's error at the near post and the second was due to the defence not closing down and allowing far too much space and time for the shot. I stand to be corrected, but Grant for the first and Leahy/Harries for the second. The 2nd. Might need to watch it again mate, it was into his arms and he spilled it back into the net as he dived to his right. The shot should be been stopped sure, but this was basics for a GK. The fact that we even mention the defence shows the difference as if that was JVS, it wouldn’t have mattered IMO. That's very harsh. If I was Tisdale, I'd be giving Harries, Westbrooke and Leahy a rocket for not closing down. The shot was unchallenged from 10 yards and Day got down to get an arm to it, but "in his arms"?
I do take back the point about the first goal and apologies to Josh Grant. Nicholson let Lund get free and Kilgour was in the area of the near post. Possibly some criticism of Day's positioning, but that was due to not having a defender at the near post.

He won’t walk and we won’t sack him imo. he’ll be given the chance to form his own squad in the summer and get us back up, and as a fairly successful league 2 manager I wouldn’t be surprised if he did bounce us straight back... I’d much rather just stay up tho

I question Day AND the defending for both goals, they were all at fault so why try and pick just one person? Day should really be saving that shot (for the second) imo, even tho it’s a shot that should never have even made it to him in the first place it still should be saved

If JVS made that mistake that Day did, he’d have been absolutely crucified on here. Which mistake? Rochdale's first was a defender's error at the near post and the second was due to the defence not closing down and allowing far too much space and time for the shot. I stand to be corrected, but Grant for the first and Leahy/Harries for the second. I know Grant isn’t popular on here but wasn’t he sat on the bench when Rochdale scored their first?

That 2nd goal is not the keepers fault. That is Leahy's fault and then Harries. Leahy backs off too much and gets done up like a kipper. Yes Leahy has to be careful to not give away a foul in the area but Leahy should have dealt with it before the Rochdale player got into the box. He backs and backs and backs off and he pings a hard shot right at Day from 8 yards with Harries in the way marking no one or even closing the gap on the number 10. P1ss poor defending.
