Goodbye Brian my friend. People could disagree with what you said or even the way you did it but they could never argue that you didn’t have absolute passion for everything you did and everything you believed in especially this football club within which you fully immersed yourself.
I am so sorry you didn’t get to see that new Stadium you so wanted to sit in before you died and that you spent so much time, energy and emotion trying to help bring about.
RIP my friend.

Absolutely gutted to here this. Last saw him at the Sunderland game last March. Standing on the terrace will be a lot less lively without Brian there. RIP my friend you will be greatly missed. My condolences to all your family.

Touch from Jim that, fair play. It says by David Thomas at the top so not quite sure who wrote it but Brian was someone that, once seen, you never forgot. A totally dedicated supporter and a very sad loss

Sad news given particularly how close we are to getting a vaccine, Gaschat won't be the same without Gasincider, we only lost Severncider a year or so ago. RIP Brian, condolences to his family if any are reading this thread.

I am so sorry you didn’t get to see that new Stadium you so wanted to sit in before you died and that you spent so much time, energy and emotion trying to help bring about. So many deserving gasheads have left us not able to take their seat in that new stadium nor indeed were they able to pass on knowing that new stadium would even get built. If it does become a reality and I am lucky enough to be alive and able to take my place among that first day crowd there will be a few poignant moments reflecting on all those who were not able to share that day.

A truly sad day. Will be glad when this sh**ty virus has gone. Brian was a great character who always said what he thought regardless of what other people thought. He was also incredibly kind and nothing was too much trouble. Will miss my prematch drinks and card games with him. The 'match day experience' both home and away just got a bit sh**ter. RIP

RIP Brian, condolences to his family if any are reading this thread. Had a conversation with a mutual friend of Brians this afternoon and we agreed that Dave would be waiting at the gates for Brian and would be talking about which cloud to build the new stadium. RIP all Gasheads who we have lost during these horrible times.

This virus is a lady garden. That’s one thing we can all agree on.

It was bad enough before this awful virus

Always an interesting read, even if I didn't agree, but a very sad loss. Deepest condolences to all family and friends. R.I.P. Brian.
