A typical Tisdale result, as long as you score one more than the opposition you win.

This defence is a shambles - I am not convinced by Harries, Ehmer or Baldwin if I'm honest.

Bit of an end to end game, good to get a win and some momentum, I imagine qualifying for the next round will be a small boost to the coffers.
We attacked well, thought Hanlan had a good game and scored a nice goal, Westbrooke made a difference when he came on. Our defending was very questionable at times, whoever comes in is going to have to address that.

Concerning that we let go a 3-1 lead again at one point! Must be a mentality or a fitness issue as this happens too frequently.

This defence is a shambles - I am not convinced by Harries, Ehmer or Baldwin if I'm honest. Ehmer came with a good reputation as Gills captain and leader. The new Manager needs to get him to rediscover that

I am not convinced by Harries, Ehmer or Baldwin if I'm honest. Ehmer came with a good reputation as Gills captain and leader. The new Manager needs to get him to rediscover that When you have wingbacks, you need to tell them to defend. The back three were continually left exposed and our two full backs were to far forward.

Still look shakey at the back and still need that captain type in midfield to hold things together , we were great attacking tonight but those two things stay the same and probably will do until we bring in a leader in midfield and sort out our defence with a some good coaching and organisation. But so good to see us up the tempo and have a go tonight hopefully the new manager won’t have us go back to tippy tappy boring football again.

Playing a back three gives the opposition too much space to attack us. We look likely to concede all the time. Didn't really think there was much improvement in our play tonight.

That was a brilliant game to watch. End to end excitment all the way. Agreed Russ. I don't think Chelsea lacked pace anywhere on the pitch, whereas in our league, sides just tend to have a few speed merchants.

A thoroughly enjoyable game of football. Wasn’t a dull minute. Hanlon and Hare and Nicholson and Daly were excellent for us and a couple of the Chelsea payers looked even better.
