Tough game today away against a team with a perfect record in the league so far, Ben Garner's side will have to be on their game to get something from this. Luckily Rovers have a decent record against Lincoln being unbeaten in their last 4 meetings, winning the last 3 of them and the gas arrive into this one off the back of a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Northampton last weekend which should give them confidence.
Feeling positive about this one, will be interesting to see if new signing Ben Liddle has a part to play after his transfer from Middlesborough this week. Come on you blues!

I think we played a poor side last week and we are playing a good one this week so it's likely we will revert to second best and lose, cue lots of 'Garner out' posts post match. However I was impressed with our 'reserves'against Oxford and that the new Rovers is at last coming through. So my head says a loss of 3-1 and my hope hopes for 1-1. That's the magic of football and like Man U, Liverpool and Leicester found last week anything can happen.

I think the best we can hope for here is a draw. But a win would be amazing,

I don't know too much about them but I know they signed Liam Bridcutt in the summer and this is exactly the sort of signing I think we need so will be interested to watch the midfield battle closely. I'm going for a 2-1 defeat. I'm being a tad optimistic to think we will score though.

Difficult to see us keeping a clean sheet against this Lincoln side, and almost impossible to see us scoring more than one without being given another penalty - so I’ll go for an optimistic 1-1.

With Nicholson back and McCormick playing the advanced CM role this side should makes chances, I'm more worried about us conceding than scoring.
Today should be a good test of where we are now under BG. Hopefully it won't be another disappointing loss.

My gut tells me we'll be three down in 20 minutes. Two pens and a powerful header from a free kick on the halfway line. We'll stage a galant second half comeback to pull level and win it with a pen in the dying seconds.

Hard to see beyond a nailed on guaranteed home win. I’m not sure I can even call the old reverse psychology coupon busting random Garner win this week as Garner got his occasional win last week. The only thing I will say is that whilst I expect it will be fairly routine I don’t think it will be a hammering.

Magic mushrooms for breakfast I reckon, he’s still far to high to be from last night. 2 - 1 Gas, first away win for Ben and an outpouring of love for him at 5pm. 👀 UTG!

I’ve stupidly done an accy of £3 for The Gas, MK Dons and Wigan to all win
Another splurge of £2 on Rovers, Ipswich and Peterborough to win, both teams to score
I know you shouldn’t put your own team on any sensible bets as it’s head ruling the heart, but for some silly reason I’m feeling optimistic about today
Why not? Lads confident, and a resounding 3-1 win on the cards
Noticed Rovers are currently 275-1 to win the league
Only 2 teams less fancied than us- Northampton and Rochdale!
Might push the finances and stick £1.50 on that!

I’m going 1-1. Lincoln have had a good start but the sides they’ve beaten have all only won 1 game each this season except I think for MK who still haven’t won so it looks as if they’ve had an easier start to the season than we have fixture wise. It’s early days and at this point the table doesn’t tell us an awful lot as to how this season is going to go. I think it will after 10 games. My biggest worries , are we going to score enough goals to stay up this year , and that we haven’t got a tough experienced ballwinner to play in front of the back four.

Lincoln are obviously experiencing a great purple patch. You can never read too much into early season form though. I quite fancy us today. I don’t know why or even how but sense something in the air. No I didn’t have a Madras last night before you pipe up Marshy!

The thing is if Lincoln has won 4 games on the trot in the middle of the season would anyone really notice? The table means nothing at the moment (as others have already said) We need to start well and hopefully go in front early doors and then we will see what the mighty imps are made of. UTM, up the madras! COYB!

Lincoln will drop points soon, no reason why it can’t be us. Been thinking a 1-1 all week so I’ll stick with that. Before their later signings than us I thought at one stage we’d done better than them recruitment wise but not after their late signings. And Appleton is a good manager who appears well liked by Lincoln fans, obviously for a reason. UTG!

Rovers to win 2-1.. so there is the kiss of death on that. Maybe I will throw a tenner on a Lincoln win and jinx them instead.

Another rovers away win, just to keep my nephew quiet for another six months, was giving me earache last season before the game, not much to say afterwards, been reminding him all week,so if your reading this BG we need a big performance.
