2-0 home win with Donny breaking through n the later stages of the game. If JA and BH play together as a front two pairing, we may then have have a real threat up top, and if we get in front early may pull off a surprise. However from what I have seen from Ben's game management so far he is a one trick pony with no real understanding regarding "Positions Of Maximum Opportunity".Is that really the case though, as we seem to change our style of play form the Ipswich cup game to the last two league games, if not our formation. Not sure today is the day to play two inexperienced strikers upfront and so weaken the midfield.

3-0 Donny, BG stood looking on helpless, casually dressed in his Rovers free 'Top Man' attire.

Unfortunately I can’t see anything better than a 4-0 win to Doncaster today. Tough first 3 league games, so after today we will fly up the league👍

Not sure today is the day to play two inexperienced strikers upfront and so weaken the midfield. BH has played more than twice as many league game as our two ever present midfield players (ZW and JG) have managed between them. Three experienced midfielders no longer available to us (OC, LS, and AO) have been replaced with inexperience. So ok to allow inexperience in midfield, but not ok to play a central strike partnership together even though one of them is experienced. The other striker JA (according to Sam Frost) was brought to the club to play with JCH, I find it absurd that he should nor play with Brandon.

Head says a win for Donny by 2 or 3 goals but heart says a better display and the Gas come home with a point.

Had a lot of trouble with this lot in last couple years, the exception being the afore mentioned win when Ellis was on fire and was like a raging bull in a china shop, with a bit more finesse!, remember their fans being up in arms with him for the way he bullied them all afternoon and at the same time wishing they had him. any way all the signs point to another loss which is why i fully expect a 2-1 win for Rovers (of Bristol!) and lift off for Ben ,the team and the season! Come on Gas! My first visit to their new ground, DC changed formation three times in the game. They had injuries at centre back and Ellis ran them ragged, Ferguson was not happy and thought Ellis should have been sent off ha ha. I'm hoping BG shows some game management today, if we are struggling change something to make us more competitive be it players or shape. Come on you blues.

Hare_Hargreaves_Grant_Westbrooke_Tutonda __________Ayunga___Hanlan Two strikers & a stronger midfield. There's zero protection for the two wing backs in that formation I assume would be BG's response. They get none anyway & are constantly sat so deep that I would barely call them wingbacks. Plus, many more teams successfully play 3-5-2 than 3-4-3 in the EFL.

I wasn't around for last week's game so I'm really looking forward to watching this one. I noticed that Donnie got a lucky draw at home to MK Dons 1st game so I don't think they are as strong as previous seasons. I'm fully behind BG and the players he has brought in - some good signings there (watched v Cardiff). The only thing I wish he'd change around is to play 2 up front - Would be great to see Hanlan alongside Ayunga.
