I was happy to give him 10 games, but I have now changed my mind. There has been no improvement. He seems to have no desire to change the formation when it isn't working. I would have gone 4-4-2 when Ayunga came on it may have not have worked but at least it may have given Ipswich SOMETHING to think about rather than substitute like for like.
I'll hand it to Garner he can talk his way out of a room with no doors it seems.
I would say he needs to turn it around fast, but I'm very convinced hes not going to be able to. Wael took a gamble and it has failed.
I dont think hes going to sack Garner anytime soon, but I would at least be putting my feelers out for the eventual inevitable.

Yes but they were different players who played for each other largely! So far under BGs team it’s like watching a Sunday league game? But I never criticise our manager but we should have gone in house last season after GC left to keep things the same. Now it will be difficult for a new manager with this squad? It’s going to be a tough season with the unfancied teams doing well so far? This is life with no gas or oomph and no electric energy. Just leaky water. Thank god we have Jakkola who stands out a mile in our squad; and he is a goalie! I think different management team and another option or two upfront and we would do alright. I don’t think so! Ayunga has shown promise JML was completely off Hanlan was a let down but hard to play on your own Upson nowhere Westbrook poor but better in middle Grant not good enough yet Middle not creative or strong enough Weak in passing Defence OK so far wrt Little Leahy. Harries passing a key down. Ehmer needs to take control but it looked like Kilgour was main defender in centre today. Cannot fault Jakkola. Basically we have no midfield in any shape or form Or creativity or physical presence! No Clarke Ogogo Sinclair etc. equivalent

How many goals from open play have we scored since Garner has been here? Not sure about open play but overall: Garner: 22 games. 14 goals 38 conceded In Clarke's last season it was 29 games 27 goals 36 conceded Coughlan when he was hired was: 28 games 35 goals 28 conceded Coughlan last season: 27 games 41 goals 32 conceded Clarke = back-to-back promotions; Coughlan = got us to 4th place in the league; Garner =

All that interview from Garner served to do was water me off further. I miss the days under DC where even if we had played poorly, you felt immediately reassured after listening to the post match interview that he acknowledged how bad we had been and would try to do everything to put it right.

Tbh I don’t wanna hear it, in fact I won’t bother just like his team didn’t today.

Where are you Wael? - what is the plan? So Wael should make an announcement every time we lost a game and state his plan to you? Your hatred for the man who is single handedly keeping us afloat without fans, its absolutely pathetic. After a sh*te performance, you're questioning Wael instead of Garner. It's even more embarrassing than the performance we jus watched. No, Wael should tell us all what the plan is.I do not hate the man, I simply do not understand where he is taking our Club. You say it was a sh*te performance and blame the manager - well he is Wael's appointment. In any organisation the man at the top has to take responsibility - that here is Wael and whilst I may like the man is irrelevant. He has to prove to us all that he is capable of taking this Club forward, are you confident that he is capable? As a business owner myself, I knew where the 'buck stopped' and it was always ME. I hope he has the ability and the 'ME' to take our Club forward into the Championship, because otherwise I worry for our future. Please let me know why (if you do) consider Wael Al-Qadi has the ability and means to take BRFC forward and ability to make it all happen for 'the Gas'? I personally have given Wael Al-Qadi my support in meetings I have had with him, but as you will agree, it is entirely up to him to prove my support is respected and prove it.

Our lack of passion was epitomised by the manager not even wearing a Rovers Badge.Could have been four or five. That was awful.Lack lustre, hardly any creativity and virtually no shots to trouble their keeper. This lot have no Gas in their veins!! Would love Sercs,Rollin and Craig back. Also how on earth can Ogogo not play?? Feeling very deflated.

"I think up to 70/75 minutes we did. There’s wasn’t a lot in the game at all and we had a really good opportunity and the best chance in the first half.
Up to 70, there wasn’t a lot in the game. If anything I thought we were going to push on, and then they got the goal and our heads drop a touch.
It was a disappointing goal to concede and they finished the stronger team, getting the second goal. Not much in it all.
Again it was fine margins but we need to brush up on those fine margins to make sure we come out with a result"
Is this guy for real 😒 how was it fine margins! He's just deluded they should have won 3-0 or 4-0. Hes acting like we lost 1-0 and had 7 shots on target and hit the post twice that would have been FINE margins.
Again deluded!

So errrrr, what's the excuse we're going with today? I dunno but I can’t wait to hear it! I just can’t work out what we are trying to play? I'm not being factitious, but I honestly don't think BG does too. It might look good on paper, clipboard or FIFA 16, but BG makes glaring errors in 3rd division football and appears not to learn by them. It's literally not working in front of you and hasn't for 20 matches. (The Blackpool win I concede technically a win but they missed chances and Alfie' scored a screamer).

It's Garners team, but they can't play the Garner way. I think he'd be fine, if he was the Ipswich manager with players who can pass to each other, and not the opposition.

Do you think you created enough today?'
No, I don’t think we did.

I was very much wilingl to give Garner a second chance, but he must be on thin ice now? The first ipswich game was just awful, last week was ok but we basically spent the game in our own box, and today? I dont get what the tactics are. We arent progessive with our passing, long balls are aimless. I dont see where the next goal is coming from let alone a win. Hanlon clearly isnt a goal scorer. He has had 2 great chances. Today was the weakest effort i have ever seen, and last week, surely a striker 3 minutes into his debut and gets the chance of a penalty and from what i seen, didnt even try to take it. Very worrying all round

Cracks me up 😂 why does he say I don't "Think" He was watching the game or was he 🤔 He added the 'think' word in as a reluctant defence, as he was put on the spot and was unscripted. It's a variation on the 'dust ourselves down' when things aren't working, haven't worked and it's awkward addressing it in interview. He talks a good game*, but so does everyone here. And that's about it. * I actually don't think he does.

No, Wael should tell us all what the plan is.This is ridiculous. It's blindingly obvious what the (broad) plan is, and we've been told what it is, and the club has demonstrated what it is doing about it, and he has put his money where his mouth is. Garner might not be the right man for the job, but that doesn't change what the plan was intended to be, and just shouting 'what's the plan?' coz we've lost doesn't mean there is no plan. It might have been a sh** plan (I don't think it is, but that's a matter of opinion), but again, you know what it is, so just shouting 'what's the plan?' coz we've lost seems a bit pointless. Just demanding Wael should be wheeled out in bold coz we lost to explain it in detail to you seems a bit needy.

It’s hard to imagine anyone could have done worse from the position we were in after WE WON AT IPSWICH last December isn’t it? If we’d had a competition to appoint a random fan as manager to replace Coughlan they could hardly have done worse than this clown! Garner Out! I would have kept things as they were just added the odd player here and there and top 6 would have been realistic. Garner ripped it up and started again like he was playing football manager on his computer. He basically is playing football manager on his computer

I personally think that we have a decent group of footballers at the club but we wont see that with this mans stubborn tactics I'm afraid. I dont believe for one minute BG has identified these new signings I think it's all down to TW and his superb scouting skills but unfortunately these talented players are not going to flourish with the current manager.

He basically is playing football manager on his computer In real life, with our football club, and tearing it to pieces.
