You’re not right wing ? 😂 Pull the other one . I'm neither Right Wing or Left Wing. But yeah I'm certainly not interested in the Ultra Left Wing politics of recent years, i.e Corbyns 'Momentum' brigade and AOC over in the US. If that makes me 'Right Wing' in your eyes, then so be it. It it walks like a duck , quacks like a duck ..... it’s normally a duck 🦆

Because its a matter of historical fact. Detroit anyone? Bethlehem PA? What about those 90% of kids in inner city Baltimore on free school meals? Just like the UK industrial decline left whole swathes of the country in relative poverty. Just like Thatcher Reagan's ideology persuaded him to do nothing about it. You reap what you sow So why are you mentioning that I'm banging the same old drum? When you're doing the exact same thing with Reagan, Trump and now Thatcher? I'm also stating a matter of historical fact. Since the 60's and the 'War On Poverty' legislation crime figures, Blacks killing eachother, Black kids living in Single parent households on welfare and poverty has multiplied considerably since before that when Blacks were living in Jim Crow law segregation. 90% of kids on school meals in Baltimore? Democrats have made it that way, it's been an 100% Democrat City since 1947, it does make you wonder, doesn't it? Do the Democrats want Black people in their pockets? The difference with me Oldie is that I dont have any affliation with either the Left or The Right, Democrat or Republican, Labour or Tory, I'm completely balanced. You on the other hand are so far ingrained in your rhetoric that you just can't get yourself to ever see things impartially. Because, typically, you quote the headline and then create a story to suit your conviction. "90% of kids on school meals in Baltimore? Democrats have made it that way, it's been an 100% Democrat City since 1947, it does make you wonder, doesn't it? Do the Democrats want Black people in their pockets?" I tried. You are ignoring history. The run down of industry created major economic issues in places like Baltimore. For example "In their heyday the Baltimore Yards had four floating drydocks with lifting capacity from 10,400 to 44,000 tons and two graving yards. Together, Bethlehem’s upper and lower yards employed 1,700 craftspeople and repaired an average of 500 ships per year from all over the world. Due to global competition and changing market conditions, Bethlehem closed the yards at the end of 1982 and shifted its repair operations to the Sparrows Point shipyard. Today the upper yard is home to the Ritz Carlton and Harborview communities, while the lower yard near Fort McHenry maintains its maritime heritage hosting several Port of Baltimore related terminals." Just one example amongst many. When they close the impact on City and County tax revenues is massive. You do know that State taxes are the primary source of funds for State Schools, right? Look at the date of closure, 1982. Mr Reagan. What did he do? Nothing, except cut taxes, increase military spending and rack up debt. Cue Trump and ditto. Meanwhile back on the Housing Projects... Funnily enough I was in Baltimore in 2018. Here "Where Baltimore’s shipbuilding and steel mills once stood, is now a busy destination for fun. Here’s the best way to experience everything the Inner Harbor has to offer." I spent a couple of days there. Every venue was almost uniformly occupied by white people and the police were very much in evidence. All the bar staff were white, I bought some vinyl (jazz and blues) from a record store, staff...white. Having destroyed primary industry its now a rich mans playground, protected by the police. Btw, I dont consider myself left wing, very middle of the road.

I maybe mistaken but I'm pretty sure you've mentioned that you believe the legacy of slavery was a major factor? Now it's the run down of industry which is making Blacks kill eachother in such numbers or Black kids being brought up in single parent homes? C'mon. I'm not disputing that the run down of industry may be a factor in the poverty, but Baltimore still brings in lots of money through Tourism,i.e visitors to the Inner Harbour, 2 top sports teams in the Ravens and Orioles and Under Armour still have their headquarters there. Where does the money go? It certainly isnt in the projects just a couple of miles away. You can't blame anybody else apart from the Democrat people running the City can you? Again, all im doing is stating an historical fact that since the 'War On Poverty' legislation brought in by a Democrat has seen the Murder, Crime and Poverty rates sky rocket in places like Baltimore, a staunch Democrat City.

Just saw the footage of a 13 year old with his hands up being shot by a cop in the US. At what point are people going to ask for change? Until they change their gun laws and scrap the 2nd amendment it's never going to change no matter how loud people shout. I would also question what the hell a 13 year old is doing on the streets at 02.30am in possession of a fire arm. I have just watched the video I agree with what you say, why is a 13 year old out at that time with a gun or out with someone else with a gun. it is asking for trouble The Police officer yells at him to stop, and put his hand up. He stops and as he raises his hands he is instantly shot. It seems the suspect complied and was shot in doing so I am not making any judgement, but I am sure the defence will be that they 'saw' a firearm and the police officer feared for his safety. This happened in the dark so perhaps the police officer may have thought they were going for a gun Obviously the kid shouldn't have put himself in that situation, but shouldn't have been killed just because he was The 2nd Amendment, surely has to go, but I don't how they can close Pandora's box now

Precisely Personally I was very happy to support the labour party agenda of 1997, in fact stood as a Borough Councillor based upon it in 1998. Of course after 5 really good years Blair gave us the invasion of Iraq and murdered 10s of 1000s of Iraqis'.

No you are not. You are stating an opinion. Do you have the hypothecated spending for the City and County? If not you dont know. You did know that the Baltimore Colts left Baltimore in 1983.? No? Just when that economuic benefit was most needed.

Seems it's the leftists who tend to happily categorise themselves, Marxist, Maoist, whatever etc...
But the lads on the right of the spectrum rarely do.
