Do we have anyone by the name of Gilmour?

Nope, he’s fit. Just hasn’t been favoured by Garner it would seem. Coughlan saw something in him, so it’s a shame he hasn’t got more game time since he left. Was on the bench for the dev squad in the week (don't know whether he got on). I sense BG doesn't rate any of our youngsters (or oldies!) all a bit disappointing for them and does make you wonder what the point is anymore of the Development Squad.

Well it just depends how bad Southend are, I know how bad we are. So the players didnt understand the instructions last week so will they this week? Expecting a dreadful game with little goalmouth action so very few goals if any. Go for 0-1 simply because of their goal difference.

Abraham looks completely out of his depth so I certainly wouldn't start with him. Assuming we haven't got any suspensions or injuries I don't know about I'd probably go: --------------Blackman--------------- -----Menayese---Craig---Kilgour-------- Hare------------Upson------Holmes- Dennis ---------Clarke--------Sercombe--------- ------Rodman--------------Mitchell-Lawson -----------------Daly------------------- Maybe you could throw Harries in somewhere. Haven't seen enough of him to know. Barrett clearly isn't fit and it didn't sound like anyone stood out in the reserve match this week. If he's going to go 2 up top I'd go with Reilly and Daly. I don't rate Reilly but he's a better option that Abraham and did score at Southend last season. Abraham looks out of his depth so you'd start Daly up top on his own after seeing him for just 10 minutes? I don't really understand how an L1 club with a decent wage budget doesn't have one fit experienced striker to start a game. Meanwhile Nichols is sat on the bench at Cheltenham with Rovers most likely paying the bulk of his wages.

Sorry guys , After last week I have no confidence in any team that Ben picks today , we were so bad last week so I can’t see anything other than a defeat today , I still remember that first half against Southend last time out and how we weren’t dead and buried is beyond me , don’t think we’ll be so lucky today 3-0 to them. ( hoping these comments comes back to haunt me ) UTG !

Not many options up front with Reilly likely to feature. Not buying what a good transfer window we had as with JCH injured we have very limited options.Abraham looks tentative. With our very poor midfield I am struggling to see how the new boss has improved things.Still we have to keep hoping. Please boys can we at least score today. No wonder the CEO is asking us to bring someone with us to games!!!!!!

Why wouldn't we be isn't that how most loan deals work, hence why Swindle only wanted to meet 25% of Bennetts wages? Assuming TN was is on a decent L1 salary I can't see Cheltenham paying more than a £1 p.w. towards it if they don't even start him.

Harries in midfield as I suggested by the looks of that the team sheet, or playing the other side of Leahy?

Great to see Hare back, must have been frustrating for him to get injured when he did but I think he will make a real difference now he has returned.

How Leahy starts over thd every week is beyond me. He’s been at fault for so many of the goals recently

3-5-2 with ML next to Daly? The usual BG 4-1-2-1-1 line up is my guess, with M-L behind Daly. A shocking lack of height up front, lets just hope somebody as warned Blackman and Craig to play it out from the back Coventry style not just hoof it forward all game.

Some big squad numbers in that line-up.
