Assuming the match is going to be on? The match may well be on. I won't be though! Not making a two hundred mile round trip in this weather and then face the journey home after possibly another poor performance. Good on all the Gasheads in attendance today but after sixty three years of watching the gas, recent happenings on and off the pitch have somewhat dampened the spirits of this almost seventy year old.

In all seriousness is it really a good idea to keep the game on and expect people to travel in some pretty dangerous conditions?

I don't blame you. I live half a mile down the road and wouldn't mind it being off.

That’s a great effort from you, 63 years is some achievement. You must have witnessed a great side at the outset of your supporting career. Although things have not exactly gone on an upward curve since then you must also have some great memories. Think you deserve the odd day off.

Announce 4-0 up 60th minute abandonment. Can I assume you are predicting bookings rather than goals. Definately Clark amd Upson but not sure of the other two

First match in league two as it was then, now the Championship. A 3-2 win against Notts Forest.Happy days!

Craig has been good for us in spells but way to slow to play in back four and we need to play 4 at back against certain teams, We need 2 up front as any centre forward is going to be isolated in league one, People say we played better with nichols but it’s more the case of having 2 upfront to burden the load and more link play, We need a billy sharp kinda player and hopefully Daly will be that player.
Lots of energy and a good finisher

We already know what Mayo is (or isn’t) capable of so if experimenting better to play Harries as he’s one of ours. For the same reason I’d prefer Daly to get his chance before Abraham.

If the wind is anything like last weekend today's result is going to essentially be random which I feel suits us down to the ground. Come on Gas!

Yeah that’s fair enough, I just want some change on the pitch...today’s conditions are going to shocking for the game today. We will struggle to keep Gnanduillet under control.

We need a win today rather than experimenting with youngsters Given the weather forecast for today then like Tuesday night's game, today is just going to be a battle, I can't see any reason to make any major changes from Tuesday's starting line up.

I felt quite confident that we would get a win today until I saw they’d sacked their manager. Teams on bad runs that sack their manager hardly ever lose their next match. I’d take a draw now

Announce 4-0 up 60th minute abandonment. Ha, knowing our luck. I was going to say something similar. I'll go for 2-0 up and abandoned owing to damage to the stands tents.
