I thought that was a good interview. Frustrated that we did not defend or put away the large number of chances we created. If the referee did get the penalty decisions wrong then that is a reason to complain. That is the trouble when you are struggling, the decisions and the rub of the green go against you. We have to beat Tranmere or the knives will really be out for Ben unfortunately.

Let’s be fair we were so lucky in lots of games and now he’s left none for poor old Ben! 🤪

Mediocrity is what we’ve always had bar a few seasons in the 50s and 70s where we were slightly better than mediocre Exactly. In reality the club as a professional football outfit has been mediocre for almost all of its existence. It has spent a few seasons in second tier football and never ever in the top echelon. We are now where we always seem to be. A mediocre third tier club whose major ambition appears to be the avoidance of relegation. The actual miracle is the loyal fan base. The fans have had to tolerate this mediocrity for decades and decades. It really is a wonder that people continue to support a club that has been tragically misdirected for seemingly ever. There’s many other lower league clubs who’s fans would say the same about themselves too.

If we have that much shots, like 20, and chances regularly, we should get better in the division. I don't worry a bit.

Again Wtf...? GC was a underrated, boring but a winning manager that Im sure would still have us in the top 6/8 if still here today.I was never his biggest fan but facts are facts. You make your own luck in football as in life, and GC was very, very good while here at what he did and getting results So far BG is not, and to blame it on luck at all is stupid. Simple!

He had every right to complain about the ref v Coventry . Today I wasn’t there’s so can’t comment. Fair enough, I'm the opposite & didn't see the Coventry game The referee today was truly dreadful, so many missed and wrong decisions. He was biased without doubt in my opinion. The referee against Coventry was even worse and ranks amongst the worst I've ever seen. How has it got so bad?

You make your own luck most of the time. Luck of the Irish. So, Wael invites BG up to his office overlooking the Mem on the new manager's first day at work, and excitedly gets out a dusty old box. He opens the silk-lined box to reveal an ancient brass lamp. 'This,' Wael explains, 'is the secret to my family's success. My grandfather found it in the deserts of Jordan and recognised it as a djinni's lamp. Every generation it grants three wishes. You merely rub the lamp and the djinni will appear and will grant you a wish.' 'My grandfather knew, however, that djinni's are dicks and so you have to be very careful of what you wish for. He simply wished for a happy life for himself and his wife and he wished that his son would become rich. And sure enough his son, my father, did become rich. So, a generation passed and then it was my father's turn to have three wishes. He was also very careful and unselfish, and he wished for my brother Hani to be a successful banker, and he wished for Samer to own successful hotels, and because he knew of my life's passion he wished that I would be president of a football club that played in blue, with white socks. And sure enough I am now president of Bristol Rovers.' 'Djinni's really are dicks,' thought BG, but didn't say anything. 'That was a generation ago and now I have taken the lamp from my father in order to help Bristol Rovers. I gave DC a wish, and then I gave GC a wish, and now you can have the last wish. 'Why don't you use a wish to wish for a new state of the are stadium?' asked BG. 'It's only a f**king djinni,' said Wael, 'it doesn't do miracles.' 'Ok,' said GC, 'Out of interest what did the other two wish for?' 'DC wished for two strikers worth £300,000 each,' said Wael, 'I told you djinnis were dicks. And GC asked that every time we play sh**e we still get three points. So the djinni, being a dick, made sure we played sh**e nearly every week.' So, BG's mind begins to race, thinking about what he is going to wish for. Does he wish for the ability to deliver stirring half-time team talks? Does he wish for wingbacks who can cross and tackle (probably a bit too ambitious), does he wish for a squad of youngsters he can mold to his forward-thinking and ground-breaking tactical brain? Wael hands him the lamp, and he rubs it gently. Nothing happens. Wael nods encouragingly, and so BG rubs a bit harder. But still nothing happens. Then he gives it everything, rubbing the lamp for all he's worth, but still, nothing. 'Come to think of it,' says Wael, 'last time I spoke to GC, he did say 'I wish I lived a bit closer to Sheffield.''

We could have scored 7 today. So many great chances, not even half chances, guilt edge chances that should have been put away. We gifted Wycombe 3 soft avoidable goals. In between I thought we played very well and the 3-1 scoreline was extremely generous to a not very special Wycombe side. The period of play leading to Lawsons back post header in the second half was a thing of beauty and deserved a finish. Performances are getting better. We must stick with Ben.

12 games in charge and 2 wins at Mansfield in a lower league...I can see him getting the boot next season sometime So ? Who gives a sh** about Mansfield ? GC is the answer everyone says??? People stopped coming to the games because it was pathetic football to watch when we were f u c k i n g 4th, never hated a number so much because the you narrow minded retards banging on about it, Grown men crying about “but we were 4th”. Get over it for f**k sake, man up If GC stayed here we would never have stayed in the play offs because we haven’t got the squad, The likes of Portsmouth / Peterborough / Coventry / Sunderland / Doncaster have the squads and more money to stay there. FACT When Dc was in charge and we played exciting football with brown/bodin/Taylor...we won games and the attendance was high. GC won games and people didn’t turn up but the morons want him back playing sh** football and all he had was sh** off fans saying coughlan out/ p.e teacher doesn’t know what he’s doing!!! So much so he was begging fans to stop having a go at his family and slagging him off and get behind the team. Now the same people want him back. Now it’s become so toxic these so called thick dickhead gasheads seem to be happy we’re losing games to say see I told you get GC back, Total embarrassment and pathetic individuals

To all those constantly calling for BG to be sacked. We are getting better and the scoreline flattered Wycombe. We had 53% possession 19 shots and six on target. Yes ww didnt win that will come but your Messiah GC didnt often get close to those match stats with his boring strategy

After all he was effective at achieving the only stat that actually matters.
