All this talk about tiredness playing twice a week for quite some time and I know it probably does take its toll, however would it not have been wise to sacrifice a mid week game eg Stevenage and play the whole development or u18s even at the expense of a loss or heavy loss but your players get a rest and are fresh and you maybe don’t lose x amount of games on the trot. Such a simple solution instead of blaming fatigue every game. I mean it can’t have gone much worse than this and even playing tonight we will hear that they are tired on Saturday now

Burton 1 MK0 Lincoln 5 Bolton 1 Results tonight Perhaps Bolton have subconsciously at least realised there's no hope? The problem is that with Southend so poor, and if Bolton are going to lose regularly too, there are more points being won by everyone else - it could make that safety line a little higher than a 'normal' 44 game season would suggest That's a good point, but otoh, we just need one other team to be poor.

I don’t bloody care about City. We have some serious problems to worry about both on the pitch and behind the scenes. The club is turning into a joke. Turning into a joke? It always has been. I honestly can't get my head round the complete shambolic capitulation since GC left and Garner was appointed I keep repeating myself, but get on the phone to Warnock.

We're now so poor it's untrue. We've somehow reverted back to DC's team's form before he departed, I can't see BG is ever now going to be up to what is now a massive task in turning things around.

Just listen to Mahers post match comments- Woeful ! Not a leader of men ... No direction and no idea of what needs to be done.
FFS if this nonsense was a film the audience would say it was way too far fetched .
Sadly though I think it’s only the fans that care !

On the 2nd goal sercombe loses the ball with a sloppy pass in midfield and then ambles slowly back instead of sprinting in desperation to atone for his error,it looks really bad on the highlights. He also turns his back on the 3rd goal when the coventry lad feigns to shoot.

Kilgore was an absolute joke tonight What a shame. But lets not forget he has been fantastic for us this season. Maybe Instead of "joke" say "poor game "

He also turns his back on the 3rd goal when the coventry lad feigns to shoot. All the goals were shockers. The first goal the Coventry midfielder initially has too much time and space to look up and pick a pass and the same for the second midfielder who is able to slip a pass through Menayese and Kilgour who both appear to be ball watching and not marking properly. The gaps between our midfield and defence were huge on the first and they were able to play through us far too easily. The second Sercombe gives it away and doesn't do much to atone, but Kilgour is in no man's land and out position and Leahy is beaten far too easily around the back and then the goalkeeper's positioning is very questionable and should have done better on the shot. The third we switch off for the short corner, Sercombe slow to get out and close down and then turns his back and the poor marking on the striker who is 4 or 5 yards out for a tap in.

You are obsessed with that lot aren’t you? Well there's not many positives to take from my own club, so have had to find a positive elsewhere. Also maybe, you're too young to remember there was a rivalry there one day? Granted it was a long time ago.

Do we know for a fact that Garner is advising Maher on tactics and the formation of the team? On another topic - Coventry v Birmingham (as tenants v owners) is a reminder of us v Bath City in the FA Cup back in the Twerton days! Are these the only occasions when this has happened? I would guess that it probably happened at Selhurst Park at some point, as Crystal Palace had Charlton and Wimbledon as tenants in the 1980's and 90's.

Also maybe, you're too young to remember there was a rivalry there one day? Granted it was a long time ago. Can you remember Carl Gilbert,Sandy Allan the roses in front of the Tote end,the days when we took the East End ? That was when we were rivals now we are distant forgotten amateurs with our ram shackle stadium and owners who don’t give a toss. Bring back the 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s best times ever never to be seen again, that was football and support at its very best never to be beaten. Now we have foreign owners,VAR,new rules, all seater stadiums pitch’s like pool tables can’t tackle anymore the games ruined I’m afraid No atmosphere just the odd good night Irene but she has been well and truly shagged by our owners UTG my son. AND THE SMELL OF REAL GAS
