Good performance particularly given the number of games being played by these lads. Eight out injured puts a lot of pressure on squad. Last count Smith, Little, Hare, TDH, Mathews, Davies, Ollie Clarke plus one other according to eight injuries mention by BG.
Who is the eighth player injured?

A point away from home is always good, they are also a team competing for the play offs.
7th in the league going into new year, a game in hand, just 3 pointa of automatic spots... I would have bitten whoever's hand off at the start of the season.
Players need to want it as much as us fans if they are to achieve top 6, want to see fight, see players working hard and playing for the shirt. It's a great opportunity, will have themselves to blame if they can't keep it up.

For me, that was a dogged, battling point against a very tidy and capable outfit. Our defensive unit once again stood tall and left everything out on the pitch for the shirt. The Nichols chance at the end was incredibly unlucky to clip the underside of the bar and come back out. We played some very good football in spells & very pleased to be on our way back with something for the efforts.
Unfortunately the JCH toddler tantrum was once again on display for the duration, especially the second 45. Very disappointing to see and cannot be doing much for team morale. No less the young players in and around him, on the end of his petulant outbursts.
Onto Stadium MK. Up the Gas.

It’s a point but I think we’ll drop down the table now and finish midtable this season. Hope I’m wrong We probably will, but that still represents a good season. Look back to the start of this season and there weren't many on here who would have been disappointed by that. Rome wasn't built in a day. If we finish top 10 that would be a superb season after last years blip. Agreed. I’m not saying Garner won’t be successful obviously I’ve got no idea if he will be or not same as anyone else. I just think that it’ll be two transfer windows before he gets his players in to play the way he wants and we really see what he can do so that’s the beginning of next season so fair enough , I was hoping we’d go with Maher until the end of the season because I felt that we had the best chance of making it to the championship in decades playing the way we were. Goughlan was getting the best possible tune out of the players he had playing a way that played to everyone’s strengths and I think Maher would have kept that going. Garner obviously wants us to be less direct and it’s going to take time to get us playing a shorter more patient style I think the last two games shows us that. Great point today though and once again our back 3 and keeper were outstanding. UTG

We have one at right back. Who? Presumably you're not talking about Rodman or Little so unless I'm missing anyone else... Just talking about our highest scoring midfielder this and last season.

Normally he wins way over 50% of his headers today I counted two that he won and his hold up play was sloppy too. We need him fit ASAP

Unless he means a player who is playing is playing with an injury? JCH maybe?
Or Gavin Reilly? We've recalled him from his loan from Cheltenham. Is that because BG wants to see him in action to give him a chance? or is it to cover Smith's injury? Or to let him go permanently in Jan to use his wages to bring in someone else? Or because he is out injured long term - being the 8th injury?

His loan was always up in January, we haven’t recalled him.

Assuming Reilly's loan spell ends on the 31 December isn't just a case of him returning to his parent club?

Slightly off topic but is the game at MK Dons pay on the day? I’m debating whether to brave the hangover and drive from sunny Dorset but probably won’t make my mind up til last minute? It’s a big old ground isn’t it? Cheers.

Normal service resumed after the Boxing day set back, resilient fighting performance from Rovers, on we go to an easier game at the franchisees(on paper any way!)they gave pompey a good bashing today so MUST be treated with respect!!! They've just beaten Oxford and Pompey, the two forms teams of the division. One we should look to win, but a point wouldn't be terrible. Yes but only drew at Southend and lost 3-1 at Gillingham.

Who? Presumably you're not talking about Rodman or Little so unless I'm missing anyone else... Just talking about our highest scoring midfielder this and last season. He's a winger playing RWB. I'd like us to sign a creative midfielder to play within the current middle-three or in the 10 role behind JCH - not shunt already out-of-position player (who btw is doing really well at RWB!) even further out of position...

Simply put, we are a solid team. Hard to beat with some good footballers in the middle. Showed that this afternoon with a battling point. Having said that, it would be nice to pose a bit more a threat. Pace and athletism anyone? Speaking of which I expect changes for new years day. Some heavy legs out there at the end. That sums up BG's post match interview nicely! Unless any of the injured "8" return then I can't imagine we've room for too many changes.

Good players they are and would make a huge difference if they were fit but does anyone feel we ought to ditch players like matthews, little and TDH? As great as they are they are injury prone players and if they cant stay fit then get rid I say.
