It was my first "live" view of Menayese - have to say he impressed, particularly in his desire to close on players and win his battles. Him and Toney had some good scraps. Thought Maddison for them looked very dangerous - I feared he was going to get one with his long rangers. Good entertainment and the 3 youngsters I took along enjoyed it - credit to Posh for playing an open game.

Thought we played well and could have won it at the end, thought we tried to play more football today but that could have been because posh went for it. Starting to believe this season could end well, even with a shed load of injuries we are competing. Liked what Kevin Maher said post match sounds professional. don't think we played any differently to previous games. I thought we didn't keep hold of the ball as well as Posh. Last 25 mins was a bit ding dong with posh having the edge. we ended up having 8 behind the ball and leaving the front 2 isolated.

Herbie Kane seems a no brainer for me, just what we need, he’s from Bristol, played well for Doncaster on loan last season and Liverpool will be looking to loan him out in jan. Hull and Charlton in for him. I would like us to see if we could get Neco Williams on loan from Liverpool though.

He travelled with first team to Qatar. Think it would be hard to get him and not really sure we are in need of another right back as a priority. I would like Luis Longstaff on loan from them.

Oddly missing OC's late shot/keepers save, did GGMI edit the highlights?

not banned, Ogogo has a hand Injury! (which he got during the weeks ban!) Probably too much w**king. For the record , how much is too much ? Asking for a friend, he may have a problem.

Managed to keep their dangerous front 3 pretty quiet, particularly Maddison. Shame it was Clarke on that chance at the end. I thought it was Jonson so just assumed it was going to be a goal! JCH and Ollie are often mistaken for each other.

Yeah they were a good side , just as well our defence are so bloody good because without Ogogo our midfield screen isn’t protecting them so well these last couple of games and they’ve had one hell of a time keeping two decent attacking sides out in Plymouth and Peterborough. Our back three seem to be taking it in turns to win man of the match. I could certainly see how they’ve got three of the top four scorers in the division. I honestly thought we’d concede at least one possibly two or three today.

Was it just me or did the post-coughlan atmosphere seem a lot better than it has been??

After that whole hearted and quality performance I would suggest they don't waste money on a rock the boat manager, but carry on with Maher, and use GCs and Dunnes wages to fund a quality loan in January. If we can get Bennett out then that would free up the reported £4000 a week that he’s on, if that figure is true we could hopefully bring in 2 or 3 loans for that sort of money. No one's going to pay more than £1k for Bennett, GC and Dunne's wages will save, guess, £6K. Now if the club were to bring some one like McGeady in that would show real commitment and put a thousand on the gate £150K. I reckon that's about £12K a week to spend

What a tremendous performance, the boys gave a 100%, tbh if JCH has a change of heart and stays to the end of the season at least, then Rovers could probably make the play-offs. Utg
