Yeah, they seem to be spreading this out a bit. Maybe we should egg them on a bit We need to be careful or he could get poached.

Any news on Menayese? You'd have thought we'd have appealed the red by now. Suspended for 1 game according to the FA website, personally I'd take that tonight, as if we appeal and fail I assume he'll then miss either a league match or the Plymuff replay.

Tbh couldn't have asked for a better outcome than missing a Leasing-dot-com game. I'd be tempted to slot Little at RCB and bring Rodman in at RWB, or give young Ben Morgan a start.

Completely agree - appealing it could have been successful, but could just as easily resulted in a two game ban. We all know it was harsh, but take it and move on. I assume Kilgour and Craig will be centre halves tonight and all three including Menayese will be available on Saturday, assuming no one is sent off tonight! Kilgour will miss the FA Cup replay due to his second yellow in the Cup on Sunday. We clearly need Davies back fit again, we are short on numbers and experience back there at the moment. Edit -I've just looked at the FA Suspensions page and it shows both Ollie and Rollin with a one match suspension ending on the 7th. I thought that red cards meant a suspension for the next first team fixture - which is the game tonight surely? It's also bizarre that the FA page just calls him Rollin - no surname shown

(Please note Discipline in the EFL Trophy is Competition specific for all Discipline and remains unchanged from last season.)
Therefore, the accumulation of 5/10/15 Yellow cards in the table above apply only to League matches (and League Cup matches at Steps 2-4). Read more at www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/discipline/suspensions#I7tkdMY2JsRDixWx.99

Well done Topper, I'd read it that yellows were competition specific in the FA Cup and EFL Cup but not reds - a red meaning an automatic ban for the next first team fixture. The rules do seem contradictory if the EFL Trophy is completely ring fenced, and so doesn't count as a normal first team fixture. The EFL making another mess of things it seems.
We will be missing Rollin and Ollie for Saturday then, unless we appeal Rollin. I think to appeal could be a big risk as the EFL often increase the ban if an appeal fails - we could then lose him for Southend and Ipswich.

I think we should appeal it, all Rollin did was watch that twat Moore trip over thin air! Shrewsbury got away with a blatant head butt attempt against us, oh well let’s see how it all pans out. Maybe Davies is ready who knows? (Maybe the ITK gang?)

strong nucleus of first team plus couple of development squad should be enough to see off Orient, games coming thick and fast all good for momentum.

It's a refreshing change how GC selects a team to actually win these cup games!

I though Menayese would have been suspended as he was sent off on Saturday or dont it count in the Micky mouse cup? Also was there an appeal?
