Reminding me of city losing 7 nil at tranmere on a Friday night and twerton buzzing the next day when we were home,happy days indeed.

Fearing the worst for this one, Pompey have picked up lately and we are struggling. Not sure how long Sercombe is out for but we could do with him back as O Clarke offers us little going forward. Obviously Lee Brown and Ellis Harrison will be back for this one. Both should get good receptions for their contributions during their time here. Prediction: Bristol Rovers 0-1 Portsmouth I`ve got to work. First Saturday for six or so years. After Tuesday evening, I can`t say I`m too upset. |

After watching last nights game with Southampton v leicester, i feel a case of deja vu creeping up on me.....

Got a feeling our Sercombe & JCH-less 352 has been sussed (and just isn’t very good) - so unfortunately can only see a defeat. We do always seem to give Pompey a decent game, though. but we’ll have to have someone creative in midfield and keep it in the deck. And there’s the issue! |

It’s hard to forget our last home game. Prior to that, our home record is very good so fingers crossed we can get something. Play like we did away at Doncaster and home to Bolton and we’ll get a hiding.

Hope players watched the rugby this morning and see that is the sort of battling that wins you games, don't give the opposition and inch, no time on the ball, straight in their faces.
