The injury to Hare cost us the game in my opinion. We were rarely troubled down that side until he went off but Little was so poor that Hare on a stretcher would have probably been better.

Another pathetic attendance. “Faithful and True” don’t make me laugh. Where are the other 3,000 from our first season in this league? I reckon Ifollow has a lot to do with it, I live in Cardiff so it’s much easier for me to watch a midweek game from the comfort of my man cave.

Thought bar the last 15 mins it was a decent performance especially the early part of the 2nd half where we really should have put the game to bed. Once the changes were made we seemed to drop off and invite them to attack and were hanging on come the end. My biggest criticism would be that we don't move the ball quickly enough, other teams pass through us but our build up seems very slow in comparison. Hopefully Josh Hare's injury isn't as serious as it looked he'll be a big miss if he's out for any length of time. Agree with most of what you say. IMO the subs were a bit unfortunate and enforced by injuries and the two to come on were understandably not match sharp. I don’t think it was a conscious decision to drop deep, a bit of anxiety about not putting the game to bed but mostly a team who is losing is bound to take chances and push forward. Happens in all levels of football.

Wasteful at top end need a little bit of extra quality thought Alfie k was immense Seriously need help understanding this. How come they were wasteful, the only shining light for anything remotely offensive, not that there was any fear of much of that under this formation and manager at home. I have a season ticket, the first sign of crap weather I cant see myself getting soaked for that dross. I've only felt like this once before in 45 years as a fan. My seven year old could have scored the open goal that we missed, we created numerous chances and failed to finish them off, which again cost us 2 points, when you are in the ascendancy you have to finish teams off.

We played some decent stuff and looked in control until the change upfront. It's the third tier pal. I think a few need a reality check regarding expectations. The really poor attendance illustrates just how flakey some of our 'supporters' are. Your not my pal,i don't know you. Plenty of teams play good football at all levels of football. Supporters these days want to be entertained,if they don't enjoy the football they wont go. Supporters want a team who play pretty football and win every week. We don't have the players to do that in this division so are rightly adopting a more pragmatic approach to consolidate our position. You need a reality check random forumer who I don't know.

Fair points and as you rightly say two of the changes were enforced, however I do think we invited pressure late in the game, your right it does happen at all levels I just don't think we kept the ball well enough.

Midweek, cost of ticket and travel, crap stadium, defensive manager and tactics, no ambition off pitch, no investment on it, nothing season. Champions League football back on and can watch any league game for under half the cost on ifollow. To question any rovers fan being faithful in this day and age is laughable. Half of our city walk around claiming to support one of the top 4

Funny old game. Thought we played quite well until the first substitution and then it went pear shaped. Although OC had a poor game as soon as he went off everybody else seemed to suddenly lose all confidence. Sercombe and Little were very poor the latter seemed very disinterested(was he throwing his toys out of the pram after being dropped to the bench tonight?) The former is now quite clearly a shadow of his former self and offers nothing apart from wanting to charge around like a headless chicken and invariably gives the ball away most of the time. are you writing off Sercombe who has only just come back from a month -long injury !? Incredible. When did he give the ball away ?

Difference was even a bang average side like Gillingham had a midfield that were comfortable on the ball, could pass, move and receive it back again. We have no one who can put their foot on it, so are forced to resort to aimless hoofball and when JCH has an off night we struggle. crap! Watch Upson - he's our no.6 !

He is quite clearly a shadow of what he was when he joined us and it would appear I am not the only supporter to believe this to be the case.As regards giving the ball away, he did so on more than one occasion last night and has done on a consistent basis for the last year or more.

There's talk that sir Tom was not happy he didn't come on as sub in last night's clash with Gillingham, he took his frustration out by kicking a packet of mini cheddars all round the dressing room.

Most impressed with Deon Moore.Just wish he'd get a game.Don't rate Smith-Now watch him go and score!!!!!! Just out of interest how many times have you watched deon moore play? Three and impressed every time especially pre season at Kidderminster.Lots of promise I feel.

A fair question, but I think folk are watching their pennies as Eurozone & USD holidays will have cost more this summer, and there's a lot of uncertainty about the future here in the UK.

Watching your team set up at home with three centre backs, two full back acting as wing backs and two defensive midfielders, is not a great watch. Away from home ok, not at home.

In the last month, we’re looking at a league record of:
3 Wins 2 Draws 1 Loss
Scored: 10 Conceded: 7
All whilst setting up ‘defensive with negative tactics’. Apparently.

The reality check is that if you fill your midfield with battlers with zero creativity and don't bother with wingers people stay at home and do something else.
