I’ll be listening on the radio whilst driving the family to Merthyr Tydfil. Working in the morning and then leaving at 4pm so I can still pick up radio Bristol for the final whistle around Newport ., lose the signal after that.

I think the Cotswolds get in the way of the signal.

The signals pretty strong up until you approach Cardiff then it goes really bad and then you get it back for a bit strangely enough when you get on the A470. Probably because it’s up high - mountain roads . Then you get to Merthyr and it’s all horse and cart - no radios - black and white TVs etc.

all the signs point to a comfortable home win, BUT, football does not always stick to script so going for surprise point from 1-1 draw!

all the signs point to a comfortable home win, BUT, football does not always stick to script so going for surprise point from 1-1 draw! Always live in hope! JCH works a few seconds of magic and the rest of the team stick to it doggedly, bodies on line, etc., and a totally unexpected win. Well, you gotta fantasise sometimes.....

I just looked on Google and it claims Bristol to Lincoln takes 3hrs 16 minutes. Yeh right. It's a bugger of a place to get to. Used to work for a company that were based there. Hated going to sales meetings each month. The travel used to take around 4.5 hours, on a good day. Lovely cathedral but truly awful place to drive to, I agree

If Lincoln is still in mourning losing the managerial duo. They crowd might be in a sombre mood.but if they believe it’s a new dawn for them so they could go out to try impress whoever might be watching. If Rovers can quiet the crowd early doors they could grind out a positive result. A win would be nice but to return with a draw to be fair would not be a bad return. COYB
