Why did he take Nichols off who was behind everything we did creatively? It killed our attacking play and were probably fortunate to get anything from our second half performance.

Ogogo playing excellently in midfield atm Really inserting some very much needed urgency & fight Really I thought he was our poorest outfield player today.

We missed Upson today as well. Ogogo was poor today without him. Really? I thought Ogogo played well. He is a different type of player from Upson. The problem was we don't have a replacement for Upson not that Ogogo was poor without him. Hard to tell from behind the goal but against Oxford he won everything but today it looked like he could have dealt with at least one of their 2 first half goals. We seemed to get over loaded in the middle today.

Didn't notice him much in the first half but I thought he was excellent 2nd half Radio Bris commentary on iFollow saying the same. All about opinions though

Funny old game Opinions vary, I thought Agogo was ineffective today and that we lost what little attacking intent we had when Rodman & TN went off. Bennett & Smith hardly touched the ball, but no surprise when we continued to hit diagonal long balls even when Stanley were down to 10 to the 2 shortest players on the park. What happened to keeping the ball and playing football so stretching the 10 men. Never mind a point when it all honesty we were outplayed for much of the game.

Mixed feelings about this.
Against 10 men you would expect a win but from my perspective outplayed by Accies at times.
So ... maybe a draw is about right ... who knows? On to the next game.

Lets be honest, there is no need for a long report on here about todays game.
We have a Championship forward scoring goals and bailing us out of trouble each week and he will be gone in January or next summer. We have a decent defence (ish) and nothing else.
We are shocking and I was amazed at the lack of ana plan B once they went down to 10 men.I was looking at Cogs and nothing...
Bennett looked powderpuff and not interested while on, but will be saved as he hit he bar at the end.He is a waste of time and more important money to our club.
We are lucky about Bolton and Bury or we would 100% be down.
I was amazed at how low the gate was but can you really say that this side,or the club deserves anything more givenwhat it offers its fans?
I stood in a 3 inch puddle of water in the toilets and normally that doesnt happen until around November! Wtf..

Calm down every one! certainly more watchable than last seasons dire home defeat to Accy, every one assumes playing 10 men should be easy but it seldom is as many teams have found out, enforced changes def. had bearing on performance, onwards and upwards to a comfortable mid table finish!!GC will prevail in the end with all the helpful advice from this forum!! Most teams play two banks of four when down to ten men but AS attacked and outplayed us. It was ridiculous that they had so much time and space when down to ten. GC should have made tactical and formation changes but instead he made two like for like subs - a winger playing in an attacking midfield role replaced by another winger playing in the identical attacking midfield role and a little centre forward replaced by another little centre forward. Yes we gave away some uncharacteristic silly goals but the blame for dropping two points lies solely with GC IMO.

From what Ive seen of him today he looks like a Championship player playing in L1.We will be lucky to keep him in January or next summer.Think he has proved himself even though he has only been with us for 9 months. If I was him I’d have my agent sounding out championship clubs in January. He’s stuck in a poor side with a poor manager and basically left to keep us in the division single handed. Perhaps if there is a new, more progressive, modern, attack minded manager in place by Xmas he may be tempted to sign a contract extension?

Glos cricket has made it too expensive for both, plus england footie at 5. I can’t be arsed to look it up but I’d guess home attendances have been gradually falling for the past two years - more to do with being sh** than cost or something better being on the telly.

We did it when Taylor left and got lucky with Bodin. Then we did it with Bodin and got lucky with Ellis. Then we did it with Ellis and got lucky with JCH. Either our luck will eventually run out soon and we will just plummet or it isnt luck?

Going against the grain as I immediately thought penalty from behind the goal in the thatchers! Give the ref a break!

All about opinions though One even have him man of the match, instead of JCH. I thought he had a great 2nd half. Bennett and Rodman were little help when they were on the pitch though.

Don’t know about anyone else but the ground scenario post UWE collapse has really sucked my enjoyment out of the little moments on the footballing side of things as I constantly am looking at the bigger picture and that sucks!!!

Accrington often frustrate us bit of a bogey side I’ll never forget when they done us at home with the last kick of the game in “that” relegation season!

Along with pretty much every other lower league skint club I suppose. You could go back further , we’ve had some amazing strikers in the 90s and 0’s which kept us up , thing is as you say sooner or later you end up with a Matt Harold or a kuffour and your luck runs out and you go down and if it isn’t sorted you go down again.

Good entertainment for the neutral, they looked stronger at the end than us more movement and good passing, think it will be a season based upon wrapping JCH in cotton wool and ripping out the phones in January because if he goes we will struggle. Benno had a good shot at the end but for me he slows it down we need to up the tempo. Love GC S enthusiasm but we look bereft of ideas against 10 men.
