Absolutely awful news, one of the first players I remember that you could get excited about going to watch after years of sh**e in the early 2000s. That night against yeovil will live long in the memory.

As a kid my first ever rovers shirt had his name on the back. Cried when he was sold to Forrest.
RIP Junior.

Sad news! Great memories from that Yeovil game! In his interview at the end of the game, he admitted running to the corner flag with the ball to waste time - he thought we were 3-2 up He also took a phone call from Ian Atkins once during a match - Atkins phoned the bench from his position in the stand and spoke to JA on the mobile

Yeovil aside, my favourite agogo memory is torquay away. 2-0 down with minutes left and he tore them apart, scoring my favourite ever rovers goal on the way to a 3-2 win. So so sad, RIP

Absolutely awful news. He was a real character and a cracking player for us. Far too young to go. Rest In Peace Junior, you'll always be fondly remembered by us Gasheads.

Junior probably put in the most complete performance by anyone wearing a Rovers shirt I've ever seen. That match against Yeovil he dragged 8 other men kicking and screaming to a draw. An absurdly good performance.
He also sits in my life time in a group of strikers I believe are criminally overlooked by Gasheads with John Taylor (44 Goals in 95 League Games), Richard Walker (46 Goals in 143 League Games) and finally Junior (41 Goals in 126 League Games). We've been blessed in my life time with the likes of Stewart, Hayles, Roberts, Cureton, Lambert, etc but those three are often overlooked.

Yeovil aside, my favourite agogo memory is torquay away. 2-0 down with minutes left and he tore them apart, scoring my favourite ever rovers goal on the way to a 3-2 win. So so sad, RIP That torquay game was mine too. 2-1 down with less than 5 minutes to go and he and Walker nicked two wonder goals to win it for us. Went absolutely mental in the away end that day!

Absolutely gutted. Watched so many years of dross growing up yet Agogo still managed to put on a show in a pretty poor team. The atmosphere that night against Yeovil was incredible, especially as they used to batter us every game before that.
