Shame for broom, really liked him Decent line up, but it depends on the formation - can’t stand the diamond midfield if we’re going to the win If these players are good enough then any formation should be good enough to beat a team in a lower league Fair point. Thing is plenty of clubs make a diamond work but all of them have attacking fullbacks with the ability to get up and down for 90+ minutes contributing to attacking defending and the midfield. I’m not saying ours can’t do that but to make it work they have to. The diamond shouldn’t be narrow and defensive at home.

Like the pairing up front, Glad Alfies in, but don't understand why Tomlinson who was on the bench at Blackpool has been missing from 2 successive home game squads, unless carrying a training knock or Rovers are desperate for him to play in the development squad game Thursday?

I watched the Gavin Reilly interview earlier and was a bit surprised that he was new to training on movement without the ball, when talking about training under Duff. This may explain why our players never seem to find space to create anything

Broom injured for Cheltenham, but they do have a lad I recommended to Rovers called Jacob Greaves making his debut Shame for broom, really liked him Decent line up, but it depends on the formation - can’t stand the diamond midfield if we’re going to the win Can you get video? I can't..

Very strong side, arguably stronger than Saturday. Intrigued how the front 2 get on together. Smith looked promising in his debut and I could imagine them complimenting each other. Going for a routine win with that team. When did Rovers ever have a routine win when it comes to cup games? To answer AF's question I believe only the West and South West stands are open and seats in the former are already sold out. Yeah, cheers. Just got some SW stands. Ticket queue pretty huge.

Won't be so bad if they put on a show but you can see how people could get put off.

If you mean on iFollow league cup games are commentary only for some odd reason, I'd have thought making £10 (or even £5?) for stay at home fans might be worthwhile for the club tonight.

Looks like a 442 diamond again. Bennett at the top of it tonight though.

I'm talking about the fans that just decide to turn up and watch a game, that could be the difference between wanting to go again or not.

Buy online and there is a scan code on your email ticket?

I live abroad & I've always been able to watch them, maybe it makes a difference having an annual subscription instead of trying to purchase one game? I watched the Fulham game the other year & I watched us play QPR last season. The only time I've not been able to watch with iFollow was when we played Barnet in the FA Cup I bought an annual subscription this season for the first time so will report back my findings this evening. Working for me! Did you get it?

I used to finish work at 7 & due to issues at home could never guarantee I could go. As a diehard I would put up with this, but if you are trying to attract casual fans to the club it would put them off.
