Sadly we have played 2 amateur clubs. I think the test is always the first league game and given we have lost 9 and drawn 1 of our last 10, we are over due a win. A good start and we could be up there for the rest of the season.

A good start and we could be up there for the rest of the season. Pompey beat a top tier Irish side 11-0 today. Pre-season results mean very little. For a pleasant change it seems we've got a sensible pre-season build up where the opposition gets progressively harder it'll be interesting to see how we get on at Plymuff in a couple of weeks as that will be the real test before our first league game.
