Agreed. The man's a rock. Ex-Millwall, what else would he be. Is he about to be suspended? Interesting to see what we're like without him. Nowhere near. Only had 5 out of the 10 yellows needed at this stage of the season for a suspension. Thank God then. Might just manage without Locks if Craig's there to marshall his replacement.

14 points need to be sure of staying up. Sod the league table now and tonight it doesn’t matter. Win tonight and 3 wins and a couple of draws from remaining 10 games would be enough. That’s all that matters. Sod oxford, Rochdale , f**k em all we just need those points. Bump. 3 wins and a couple of draws needed to stay up from our last 10. We’re not out of it yet but we’ve got one foot in league 1 next season. UTG

A great night all round!
Bradford loosing, Plymouth won but they beat Shrewsbury which keeps them down there. Rochdale and Oxford cancel each other out. Scunthorpe won, but they beat Southend who are in free fall right now. Same with Wycombe even though Accrington got their first win in a while. I can even see Wimbledon getting out of it they way they are playing right now!
With our goal difference it means that even if we loose on Saturday we cannot fall back into the bottom four. Nobody on more than 51 points has gone down in the last ten years (I dont know the stats from before then), so 52 should be enough but lets aim for 55 just to be safe!

Must be the most inform relegation zones generally speaking.
If we hadn't have picked up those 3 wins, we'd be bottom of the table 2 points behind even Wimbledon!

Great words from GC now about the vocal away following ! Hope you enjoyed it Gasheads. Massive respect to you all. Glad Ive got my ticket for Coventry - Ogogo and JCH up there could be tasty. missed out on Argyle. Glad I made the effort today, and respect to the guy giving out comp tickets on the gate. Cheap night out, funded by the players! That was probably Tom Foley the kit man handing out the complimentarys.

we face Massive dilemma now, do we stick with winning team or change tack and make a change , i mean Bideford has been brilliant in two successive away games but can he do it under pressure at home? or do we select a proven homer for the match thread, personally i think Bideford deserves a chance in front of a home crowd but would understand those who kept him for away games and picked horses for courses, anyone know who has best home record?

The shirt is Bideford's to lose.

Who's our Home specialist ? With the worst home record in the league, I would suggest no-one is a specialist. Over the last six home games, we're 18th. Who did the Blackpool game?

From a Gillingham fan, sour grapes?
Gills were dreadful, absolutely no quality on the ball throughout the 90+ minutes, and beaten by a splendid 25 yarder from Rover's Clarke-Harris that even if he tried another 100 times it is doubtful that he could replicate that goal. Gills had 2 shots on target and had plenty of huff and puff but couldn't beat a really poor and in the end lucky Rovers.

You hear this a lot when we go away to teams and manage to beat them "they were really poor" but the truth is, the best way to get a result at grounds we don't historically do very well at is to keep things tight, frustrate the home crowd and hope we produce something at the other end. If we tried to play them at their game, the home advantage would make it a struggle for us. Ultimately if playing poor away from home is picking up 3 points for us, then long may it continue, we need to get away from the relegation zone in whatever way we can.

Agree axegas but it’s also something that all forums tend to do, even us. Remembering the fall-out on here after losing to Wycombe we were saying we were bad and we lost to a poor side.... So what I don’t care. We got to get the 3 points and I don’t care how, I take it with a pinch of salts. I don’t care what the Gills fans say and on Saturday I hope the Charlton fans say the same and I won’t care about that either. From listening to what was said on the reports and on Sky we deserved it so what they said probably wasn’t true but their fans are upset which I get. Fans get upset, we get over it and I’m sure they will. I just don’t care.😉 UTG!
