Bizarre decision.
Has something gone on behind the scenes?

Very poor result yesterday, against a team bottom of the league. But even so, to sack him seems scarcely credible.

Very harsh decision. I wonder if they will come to regret it? Only time will tell.
I know they've won just one of their past nine league games at home, but they still sit 4th in the table, 7 points clear of 7th place.
It's not just Moore they have lost, but also the highly-rated Graeme Jones, who was an integral part of the coaching staff with Belgium when they achieved 3rd place in the World Cup and worked with Roberto Martinez at Wigan when they won the FA Cup.

Four wins from 12 and they're definitely faltering but agreed, bizarre and harsh decision. Still comfortably within the play-offs and they lost their best player in January when Harvey Barnes returned to Leicester from his loan spell.
Hopefully they don't follow the usual rhetoric of hiring someone in the Big Sam/Mark Hughes ilk.

I still think Aitor Karanka is a good manager despite his average spell at Nottingham Forest. I like Michael O'Neill too, and if he could tempt his Northern Ireland Assistant Coach/Analyst Austin MacPhee with him, they would be getting one of the outstanding young coaching minds in the UK that most people haven't heard of. However, it might be too soon for O'Neill, but I would like to see him have a crack at club management over here in the near future.

Slav seems to be the main name bandied about after Wagner reportedly turned them down. I like his football too, actually tries to get it down and play. I just hope they don't go for one from the usual merry-go-round, given how bad Pardew worked out.

Hahahaha no way! Sidenote: hopefully they hire the midget and derail the 82ers playoff chase.

The subject of Darren Moores sacking was on TalkSport the other day and Adrian Durham reckoned it smacked of racism I think he made a valid point when you take into account how awful the two managers prior to Darren Moore were and how long they were allowed to continue.
