As I have a longish journey to the game tonight - what’s the weather like in Brizzle at the moment? Just a bit drizzly. A bit cold but nowhere near freezing.

Feels kind of weird saying this but I actually want Nichols to start tonight. He won’t get us many goals granted but neither does any other striker at the moment and Nichols will at least make stuff happen and be involved in the play in the final third. Playing THD at LB and Bennett on the wing also seemed to work against Port Vale. I would like us to give him another opportunity as perhaps having someone like THD alongside him will get the best out of him.
My team for tonight: Bonham (GK) Holmes-Dennis (LB) Lockyer (CB) Craig (CB) J Clarke (RB) Bennett (LW) Sercombe (CM) O Clarke (CM) Rodman (RW) Nichols (ST) Jakubiak (ST)

Its a good team to be fair my only doubt is Bennett but again not much options wise. I really hope GC doesn't bottle it and play Kelly with THD in front of him … we really need to 'have a go' tonight. I worry he will opt for Upson which weakens everything going forward and defending.

Just read that Peterborough have scored more away goals than any other league 1 side this season. Think we’ll need at least 2 to win it tonight so I’m going for 3-1.

We have been way too cautious against sh**e opposition this season at home and really paid the price.

Tomlin starts for them, I am sure he’ll get a nice warm reception. They have a front two of Ivan Toney and Matty Godden too. I’m sure there will be goals in this.

Surprised to see the new lad on the bench, thought he was signed too late

No height in the team, let’s hope we aim to keep it on the deck. Time for our Tom to shine. It’s now or never young man!

Strong bench for Posh. One for them that Gasheads might not know is Matty Stevens. I've seen a bit of him the past couple of years during his loans in non-league and he is a very sharp and dangerous striker. Got a goal in him if he comes off the bench.

So pleased to see lines and olly together in the middle again. Our success over the last four years were built on that pairing. Lines may well be a bit rusty because he’s hardly played lately but I’d stick with these 2 for a few games. Cogs doesn’t know it because he’s only been here since the summer but they are our best two central midfielders over that time.
