Darren Ferguson back at posh with them on an indifferent run of form, it's got away win written all over it.
Just Do Not concede an early goal and go for the win. Drawing just won't do at this stage. Home form has to improve or we are heading down

I think we're in for a bit of a thumping.
It's all going wrong at the club. The new manager effect didn't last five minutes.
The owners wouldn't be worried at all about a return to League 2. They can manage our expectations even lower down there, and save a shed load on wages in the process.

If the money is being used to bring in a striker, it's worth the risk. At the end of the window, I will rethink if it's a good move. Is that the arched, round or square window? Whatever shape, it might as well be a closed one, judging on our ability to bring in someone to improve the squad.

Not quite the turnaround we'd hoped for under a new manager.

I think the problem we've got is the players that have left/loaned are low wage players
When you look at Bennett who is on supposedly £4k a week I wouldn't be surprised if Martin/Broadbent/Ruess/Bagdadi are not on that wage combined
and now we've got Slocombe back on our wage bill if they are adamant to stay within the FFP rules !
If we are trying to get a Proven lge1 striker & lf Wael & co will not donate then we will have to move on one or two more to give us a fighting chance
unfortunately if Bennett's wages are a benchmark then Upson/Payne/Rodman/Bonham/Craig's wages are all going to be top end I would imagine
B*ll*cks. Sorry, don't believe that for a second. I don't believe we have a single player on 4k a week. Same here, utter rubbish.

If you think about it though; the transfer budget has shrivelled up with the inclusion of higher earners like Bennett (who might not be on 4k a week but he is definitely one of the highest earners and would be on maybe 3 or there abouts), as well as Sercombe and Upson and Rodman and Payne. They’ll all be on wages above what we usually offer. I know it sounds silly to use as a comparison but the Football Manager games usually do a pretty good job of getting player wages in the right ballpark figures and I bought the most recent one last night. Seems to also suggest a wealth gap between those new players and the old guard. Maybe it isn’t to the tune of £4k a week but the wages are definitely taking a toll on our finances. These players were brought in to help us push for promotion through the playoffs after 2 mid table league one finishes. That obviously didn’t come good and we’re feeling the pinch.

Lets hope the players are feeling positive as there is a lack of it amongst a large part of our fanbase

Sleet showers forecast, bring yer blankets! Brrrrr. . . I've always said the Mem has it's own micro-climate. Even at the height of summer you are freezing your nadgers off in the Thatcher's End. This is why you never see Sir Ranulph Fiennes at the Mem. Too bloody cold for him.

Lot of gloom on here. Think it'll be a really good game. They need points to stay in top 6 and we need the pts to get out of bottom 4. They are not going to play like Wycombe - will be a football match. Think it's going to be a close score, but we can win it !!!
If HD, Sercs, Ollie, Nichols and Jakubiak are sharp tonight we can do it.
C'mon Gas !!!

I think he's likely to stick pretty much with the team that beat Port Vale. We were SO poor against Wycombe, other than possibly J.Clarke nobody could argue with being dropped.
I'd probably go:
-------------------Bonham-------------------
J.Clarke----Lockyer------Craig---Holmes-Dennis
Rodman------Sercombe-----O.Clarke-----Bennett
------------Nichols------Jakubiak-------------
You could bring Reilly in for Jakubiak or Lines for Bennett moving Sercombe to wide left but I'd probably start with the above.

I would be happy with that although I'd get Lines in the middle and push Sercs out to replace Bennett. However, I suspect GC will revert back to two left backs and two holding centre midfielders meaning we'll have a massive gap up to the strikers and create little before losing 1-0 😢
