OK, take a point but we are still in the mire it would seem. Bonham MOM maybe says we haven't turned a corner quite yet We're unbeaten in 6 and picking up points. Making ourselves hard to beat. I would say we've definitely turned a corner. A small one mind you.

Gas FT 0-0 a decent point and another clean sheet in GCs turnaround Not sure I'd call it decent. Really need to be winning games like that in a relegation battle. They were pretty dreadful in the first half especially.

Well i imagine were still playing 4-4-1-1 but reilly is really a striker and he has been replaced by a midfield player[sercombe]. Coughlan has kept the 2 defensive minded centre-midfield players which has worked for him. He has also selected a left back on the left wing. For me all his selections have been quite cautious but he has decided to remove a striker for this game. Im not against the selection but for me its not an attacking one. If the balance is right then we’ll be able to attack and have a good chance of winning therefore it will be attacking. We could play lines and sercombe in midfield together and Mathews left wing instead of Dennis and on paper that would be a very attacking line up. But we’d provably be overrun and spend most of the game on the back foot defending. If you see what I mean ? I never said he made the wrong selection, but for me it was not an attacking selection.

I think the point was if Smith or Slocombe had been in goal we'd have lost to what look to me a poor Accrington team, as were Burton in the previous game. The positive is that you just know in the past we'd have lost today, if not both games. That's also our third consecutive league clean sheet. We really now must beat Wycombe next Saturday or we could well get dragged back into the bottom 4.

I was only half listening but sounded like Bonham saving our bacon rather than another great team performance. Conditions sounded grim mind you

This point will look a lot better when we follow it up with a win against Wycombe. Decent result, keeps the positive mentality rolling. Utg

I thought we played decentish football considering the conditions and we looked tired but dug in. First half we looked the better team but just seem to miss a target man as jak looked too isolated when he had the ball

Not really a dig as such as he’s doing a fine job I feel, however gc talks about “keeping the jersey” and we finally had a striker scoring in the week, gc even stated he ran more than any other player (which was Payne’s main focus of criticism btw) and he was rewarded by being dropped. It’s all about momentum in football and as the saying goes strike when the irons hot, I just hope gets a chance to start before too long. Utg

I think we're in a honeymood period for GC and the players have a confidence boost but we were sh** today again. I think we will be ok this season but not confident about the future if I'm honest.
Good point though.

Happy to get a point there given our record against them. Just a shame that two below picked up wins. Still a point keeps us above the line lets get a win against the cheats UTG.

Draw every game you get relegated, a draw is fine as long as we back it up with a win saturday

Draw every game you get relegated, a draw is fine as long as we back it up with a win saturday You get also get relegated if you lose every game! We're not going to win every game until May and today's game was never going to be easy. Our problem now as fans is that we've gone from complaining when we lose every game to now complaining when we don't win! Still don't get why GC kept Payne on the bench after he scored in mid week, as Jak was getting nowhere against the Accy defensive giants.
