Such a gulf in class between both teams, fair play to Celtic who put in a fantastic performance but I can’t help but want to see Rangers get better so Scottish football can get to be a bit more entertaining again.

Josh Windass has scored a fair few goals for Rangers this season. Not bad for someone previously playing English 4th division football with Accrington Stanley. Nothing against Josh Windass but I think that gives a real indicator of Rangers level and that of Scottish football in general. In contrast we got Derek Riordan who had played for Hibs and Celtic, and had even been capped by Scotland, and he could barely pass to himself.

This morning the bbc site talks about Gerrard briging back Skretl from Fenerbahce. Gerrard as manager should make them sign a few players of a different kind of Windass, i guess.
