Has sadly died at the age of 60.
I loved the rivalry in those days.Him, John Lowe, Jocky Wilson, Big Cliff Lazarenko etc etc made the game of darts popular.

Real shame he has gone so early. I was a big fan in the 80's watching him winning his world titles. Was good entertainment in the I'm A Celebrity Jungle programme a few years ago. Remembered for liking his smokes, straight talking and for making some money by betting on himself to get to the latter stages of the competition.
