Rumour has it that were doing a refub in the clubhouse bar. We use to have bands after games remember in particular a female soul singer she was qaulity. Bar use to stay open till 9pm. along with a roof above the east terrace, retaining the terracing at the front, a big screen at South end and possibly a roof over the away end.

I think the way to go is to build the main stand on the car park, then bit by bit move the ground over. If you have 7k in the main stand, along with 5k at a new north stand, 6k in a new west stand an 1600 in the south stand. It gives to 19500. Yes you lose the half car park but you gain vehicle access on the other side. beneath the West and North stands you could have shops or perhaps community things

I'd quite like one of the stands to be 2-tier, rather than a bland "bowl-style" design. But then, beggars can't be choosey!

Even if planning permission for such a monstrosity without parking provision in a high density residential area were possible – and just because similar was passed previously does not mean it will be given now or in the future – I doubt anyone in their right mind (especially the Al Qadi bankers) would invest so much money for such a half-baked result. Also, the Bristol planners would consider that having rejected an amazing site including parking, free of charge with planning permission, Rovers’ fussy owners should not be allowed the opportunity to annoy the Horfield neighbourhood with an entirely inappropriate development and perpetual match day chaos.

You are the type of person who is holding Bristol back, why the sixth biggest city in the country has no metro and or arena. Go to Newcastle and they have everything, including a fantastic 56,0000 seater stadium right in the middle of their city centre, that is what Horfield needs, a state of the art multipurpose stadium. Match day chaos, feeble inappropriate *********. Utg

Is it unsuitable because it's close to your house and may affect it's value?
