Topper I am too old for Facebook but know enough that Chris Brown is in the know and thought mates said he revealed it at the time we pulled out of UWE negotiations so interested to hear the author and what was said.

Right... So... I don't deal in crap... But this seemingly has legs. It's a little too close to what 3 other people have said to me - none of them are connected.
This doesnt mean anything other than I think it might be truer than we think. Is that vague enough? I'm not sure....

It was on the passionate gadhead Facebook site. He said he had heard rumours. So don't think he's convinced, he could be talking about the rumours on here lol.

Ok thanks does not seem that convincing then, but I’m sure something is happening with all these new employees 😂

What’s the general gist though as there are a few flavours here including variants on change of ownership? If this is true, this is very exciting indeed.

On the basis of rumours we have had on this forum since its inception, I would suggest its hardly that! After all the UWE is back on rumour was rife four or five games before the end of season just past. UTG!

He also said that because the fencing contractors weren't paid the club was bust and the owners were pulling out. If anything the majority of what he said other than that the UWE deal was off was total sh1t.

Change of ownership is a lottery because for every good owner there are owners such as SISU, Roland Duchaletet, the oystons ect. The way those owners treat the fans is something I never want to see at this football club. Honestly I think we were lucky in getting the Al Qadi's as owners, they aren't looking for a short term fix nor are they spending unsustainable amounts of money beyond the clubs means and what's more, wael is a likeable guy that shares our passion for the club. The club is making progress, getting the right staff in and becoming more professional than ever, they don't have a single reason to leave.

Not really. Wael said UWE kept wanting to revisit certain points. Presumably Dwane Sports tabled a final offer and expected a response by x date from UWE Isn't the possibility of a new stadium of historic significance, a bit too important to let the passing of a deadline bring the whole thing to an end, after so many years of hard work to bring it to that stage? This is it exactly it for me but still doesn't tell us anything about why we adopted this approach. We did have time to talk for a year as nothing has been done at all in the last 12 months so why pull out citing time. For me it's either we are putting pressure on them by withdrawing to get what we want or the family has changed their mind about the level of investment which doesn't relate to the investment in new employees they have made or why DC still stays,I would imagine he knows more than us.
